CCDA curriculum update!!!

Updates to CCDA now available

Updated training is now available to help network professionals prepare for the Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions exam (640-863 DESGN), which is a requirement for Cisco® CCDA® certification. The new curriculum incorporates current products, technologies, services, and solutions, and provides a foundation for students to gain the knowledge and skills required to design routed and switched network infrastructures and services.

The updated DESGN curriculum emphasizes the converged enterprise network model, which extends the hierarchical model to all modules in the enterprise to facilitate preparing, planning, designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing (PPDIOO) networks. The curriculum presents services virtualization based on the Cisco Service-Oriented Network Architecture (SONA), shifting the vision of the network from a pure traffic transport-oriented view to a service and application-oriented view. Concepts are reinforced with extensive case studies.

The recommended course prerequisite is CCNA® level knowledge, with additional recommended knowledge as taught in the Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN) course.

Experience

So far, i have use two product: Testking and HowToPass. They both are great product.

Tesking:

I have use Testking before. It help me a lot. Seriously. They will give us a set of questions in pdf format. most of the candidate use the testking. but please remember that u need to understand the question not just memorizing them. When u understand the question and the concept, u can encounter any question even if they change the question.

howToPass:

I think this is the best method i use so far. they give us a online exam simulationa. it almost similar to the real exam. this is good product for who always panic when sitting the exam. With their product u can become more confidence to sit for the exam. I sugggest this product since it is the cheapest!

What is online exam?

Online exam can be explain by 'taking an exam through internet'. The exam is totally and internet based program. candidate will sit for the exam for a given time. The best thing regarding the online exam is when u answer the last question, then the result of the exam will appear within a minute. If you pass the exam, that a good news for u but if you fail..sometime..candidate feel shock! Candidate can register and book the exam from Pearson Vue or Prometric. Everything is online, u can pay the fee with your credit card. if you dont have credit card, dont worry because the testing centre always allow you to pay cash to them.

In Malaysia, the popular exam is Microsoft and Cisco Exam. Microsoft offer range of certification from MCP/MCSE/MCSD/ect. Cisco also come with their exam such as CCNA/CCDA/CCNP etc. Many of us do not know what is the exam all about. well what can i say is, it is about future. Can you imagine when you graduated without any certification. the chance you to get a job is only less than 10% unless you got CGPA 3.0 and above. there is a wide competition because there are too many of IT graduates from local universities/private college etc. And for worker, you can established yourself either with your valuable experience or from your certification. most of growing company or big company require graduates who got profesional certification to make the company become more stronger.

What is braindump?

The phrase brain dump refers to the transfer of a large quantity of information from one person to another or to a piece of paper. As slang, it can describe a hurried explanation of a system, job, skillset, or other software engineering subject.

In computing, the phrase describes the taking of a snapshot of the internal state of a knowledge database for transfer or archiving purposes. Thus, the copying of any dataset might be called a 'brain dump' if its contents could be colloquially referred to as a 'brain.'

In Exam:

The phrase "brain dump" refers to confidential information, relating to examinations, obtained by examinees who memorize, then "dump" (record), the information after the examination.

Brain dumps of this sort are often illegal because the information acquired was generally taken from material that was copyrighted or registered as trade secrets, and many of the larger corporations have recently begun fighting back against the companies that mass produce brain dumps.

Brain dumps are most commonly found amongst IT certification exams (mainly because the exams are expensive, difficult to pass, and the questions rarely change). These brain dumps are actual exam questions, and answers, that users will memorize prior to taking (or sitting) an exam.
